    What you need to have ready

    To become a member, People's Choice is required by law to verify your identity. This should only take 10-15 minutes to complete. We'll need to verify your identity, and you need to be an Australian resident. We'll also need 100 points of ID in order to make your application process quick, so please have the following documents ready: • Australian driver's licence, Australian passport or Employment visa (if you hold a foreign passport) • Australian Tax File Number (TFN) or Taxpayer Identification Number or equivalent. • Medicare card. We use greenID, a secure online verification service to do this. The information you provide will be compared against relevant information databases.
